What a wonderful spring season it was. This year the heat wave hit in Maryland and then it was freezing cold the next week in New Hampshire. Go figure. But, it was great seeing everyone again and even though it was oppressively hot in MD the festival drew so many people the fire marshal shut down the grounds on Saturday. We assume that a lot of people were "steamed" having baked in their car for 2 hours just to get off of I-70 only to be turned away at the gate. But it is one of the most popular festivals in the country. Bet you never knew sheep were such a "hot" item.We are settling in for a time but will be back out before too long. We start with a couple of nice small festivals in August where we are close to home, the atmosphere is laid back and we actually have a real opportunity to visit with people, neighbors and customers. After that it is a quick string culminating with the largest fall sheep and wool festival in the east, the New York Festival in Rhinebeck. Meanwhile we are still producing and are happy to ship your orders out to you but the grass has to be mowed and we are working on painting the house, a bit per year. We are real people too. The chores have to be done sometime. The following is a list of locations where we will be exhibiting
in 2010 and our tentative schedule for 2011. (God willing.) If there is a
picture in
the left hand box, it will take you to the home page of the event. If not, the
email link will set you up with an email address for one of the sponsoring
individuals or ourselves if we do not have a direct contact to give you. Note
that because of space limitations we cannot carry our complete product
line to any show. Many of our products are available by order
only. However, if you are planning on coming to a show contact us a
month or so ahead of time and we will be happy to carry an order to the
show for you for something that we don't normally stock.
